Mtre Katherine Ammerlaan

Mtre Ammerlaan began her career as a litigation lawyer at a large Montreal firm. Coming from an agricultural background and deeply interested in these issues, she then returned to the region to join an agricultural and municipal law firm in Bedford.

There, she worked closely with Mtre Guy Paradis on agricultural land protection (agricultural zoning - CPTAQ) and with Mtre Madeleine Lemieux on agricultural product marketing.

Following Mtre Paradis's retirement, Mtre Ammerlaan founded AgriLegal, benefiting from Mtre Madeleine Lemieux's valuable advice and expertise.

Mtre Ammerlaan is regularly consulted to provide her legal and strategic advice, negotiation, and representation services before various administrative bodies, such as the CPTAQ, the Administrative Tribunal of Quebec, and the Régie des marchés agricoles, as well as civil proceedings.
